Below is all the information regarding the logistics of the day.

Waiver:

A few weeks before your volunteer event. A link for you to fill out the waiver to volunteer will be sent to you. 

Dress Code

The volunteers will need to wear closed-toe shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. We have some gloves but do recommend that folks bring their own.

Water Bottles

We recommend that the volunteers bring a water bottle to have with them while they are out in the park.

Driving Directions to our Administrative Office & Piedmont Park Parking Garage:

Our office is located off the lowest parking garage level (shared by Piedmont Park and Atlanta Botanical Garden).   Enter the Park via the large entrance framed by 2 benches on the garage's lowest level.  Walk forward into a circular stone courtyard.  Look to your right and you'll see 2 gray buildings with a courtyard in between them.  Enter the courtyard between the 2 gray buildings via the black iron gate.  Our office is the building on your right.  Take the stairs or ramp to our building.  The main entrance is framed by an awning.

• Monroe Drive Parking Garage Entrance (1320 Monroe Dr., NE, Atlanta, GA 30306):   The entrance is located at the intersection of Monroe Drive and Worchester Drive (This intersection is located between Amsterdam Ave. and Dutch Valley Rd. on Monroe Drive.).  Park on this level (level one).  Enter the park via the large entrance framed by 2 benches.  You are now in The Welcome Plaza. 
• Piedmont Avenue Parking Garage Entrance & Atlanta Botanical Garden's main entrance (1345 Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta, GA, 30309):  The Atlanta Botanical Gardens is on the garage's top level & the park is on the bottom level.  Drive down OR take the elevator/stairs down to level one (the lowest level of the garage).  Enter the park via the large entrance framed by 2 benches.  You are now in The Welcome Plaza.

• The Conservancy does not validate parking for the parking garage. Since we do not own the garage, we cannot change the prices. Below are the rates.

Drop-off Period (0-30 minutes) - Free

31-60 minutes-$3

For each additional 30 minutes- $2

Maximum Daily-$30

• If you  know the park, you do not have to park in the parking garage. It is the recommended spot for attendees who are not as familiar with Piedmont Park.

Inclement Weather Plan:

All of our projects take place outdoors.  We can work in light rain but will advise that the project be canceled and rescheduled if rain is heavy or there are thunderstorms. I will reach out within two days of your event regarding canceling/rescheduling if inclement weather is predicted.
